We believe that it is possible to share the love of Christ with a child from the day he/she is born.  Our desire is to share that love through caring for and playing with your child.  Volunteers and workers help your child begin to associate God with feelings of love and happiness.

They learn to talk to God in a child-like way and begin to feel that Jesus loves them and others.  Through Bible stories and music, your child learns about Jesus in a way they can understand.

An individual pager system gives you the freedom to worship and attend an adult Sunday school class, knowing you will be contacted if your child needs you.

Children move from the Infant Nursery to the Toddlers Nursery as they become confident toddlers. Since children vary in their development, the physical ability to walk, not chronological age, is one milestone marker used for transition from one room to another.

Both nurseries are well equipped, fully staffed, and available to parents for all regular church functions. A Nursing Room is available for nursing mothers for your comfort and convenience in the preschool wing.

Children ages 2 - 4 are encouraged to participate in our outstanding Sunday school program each Sunday morning.  Loving, skilled teachers lead these groups through carefully planned curriculum.  Bible stories and themes are taught through story time, craft activities, and games.  Worship care is available during services for these ages.

Location:  The nursery is located in the preschool wing on the first floor of the building.

Availability:  The nursery is staffed during services and classes on Sunday mornings (8:15 - 12:15) and Wednesday evenings for Bible study and choir/praise team rehearsals (5:30 - 8:30).

Volunteer caregivers and paid workers make the nursery ministry possible.  They help provide physical and emotional care and encourage interaction among children and adults.  Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer in the nursery once a month during worship.

FOR YOUR CHILD'S (And their caregiver's) HEALTH AND SAFETY

1.       Label all diaper bags, bottles, pacifiers, and belongings.

2.      Children who are sick with

*Fever within the last 24 hours    *Colored mucus from the nose

*Persistent coughing                     *Vomiting within the last 24 hours

*Infectious skin rash         *Diarrhea              *Eye discharge

will NOT be allowed in the nursery.  Please help us keep our children and volunteers healthy.  If your child develops a fever or other illness symptoms, we will page you immediately to pick up your child.

3.   No medication will be given to any child in the nursery.

4.  Diapers will be changed on all children.  Please send enough diapers and supplies for us to care for your child.

5.  If your child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on medication for at least 24 hours before coming to the Nursery or any Sunday school room.

6.  If your child has a continually clear, runny nose or rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know.   We realize that some symptoms hang on long after the child is no longer contagious. Remember, we want all of our babies/toddlers to remain healthy and happy.

Check In Procedures

Sign your child in with their teacher.

Pick up a pager.  (If we need to call you out of the worship service or class, you will be paged.  The pager is set to silent and needs to be worn because it vibrates when activated.)

Our Safe Sanctuary policy prevents us from allowing older siblings to stay in the nursery.  Please take children older than 4 years old to the worship service with you.

Check Out Procedures

As a safety precaution, children must be picked up by a parent/adult with the pager.  Siblings are not allowed to be in the nursery.  Please sign out your child on the registration form attached to the clipboard.
