Looking for a Sunday School that's COOL?!?

(Belief in God) is the Sunday school curriculum being offered at our 9:45 Children's Sunday School. This interactive program has colorful characters, cool music and travel segments designed to use the three ways children learn — hearing, seeing and then living what they learn. Your children will come to know the love of God through Jesus. So help them live out their belief in God in their everyday lives by bringing them each Sunday to Dream B.I.G. and bring it to life with Live B.I.G., a DVD-based Sunday school resource designed to excite and enrich your children's spiritual lives by bringing their everyday real world experience into Sunday school. Children arrive at their individual classrooms and can either be picked by their parents or meet Mom & Dad at their adult class when the bell rings.

We encourage families to continue to reinforce their kids' faith at home through various creative tools from Live B.I.G. online!

Nursery - Our nursery volunteers enthusiastically welcome the little ones to Jacksonville FUMC! They look forward to being a part of each child's first experience in God's House.

Toddlers & Twos - With their teachers Cody & Liz, our toddlers and two year olds will first discover Jesus' teaching through an organized yet fun time at Sunday school. Each week their leaders will introduce Jesus to them at their level, in love and fellowship, keeping them engaged in God's Family!

Threes & Fours - Bible stories are now introduced with our Children's Curriculum, I Live B.I.G! "Believe in God" takes center stage as our three and four year olds explore who they are, who wants them to come to Him and who they will become in Christ's Holy Church. Leaders interact with their class through lessons about Jesus taught with music video, DVD, games, crafts and more! Leaders keep your child eager to hear more about the love of God and the place Jesus calls His body, the Church.

Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Graders - Readers and ready to read K's keep I Live B.I.G. in their minds and hearts throughout the week. Following their leader's lessons taught directly from the Bible and supported by lively music, DVD stories, teamwork, games, and other creative materials, K-2nd graders keep following Jesus! The creativity and imagination emphasizes the Bible stories and how they can be related to the every day life of your child, re-igniting their love for Jesus and their Sunday school experience!

3rd & 4th Graders - Third & Fourth grade uses DVD and song plus interactive materials to reinforce Bible stories. A different Bible verse becomes the focus point each month. Kids are excited, and the "I Live B.I.G." study brings them confidence as they mature. It will motivate them to come to Sunday school and to grow in their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. The kids love the DVD B.I.G. Picture/B.I.G. Sound tracks and the activities are so insightful. The great team building, talking, sharing and laughing at Sunday school will help them approach their place in God's family with growing maturity and respect.

5th & 6th Graders - Our fifth and sixth graders enjoy the Tweens activities of Living B.I.G. Often Tweens can't wait to get out of the elementary department and into Youth. Stacey Harris, their teacher, along with other leaders, will help them grow spiritually and deepen their relationship with Christ in a way that will guide them to understanding the Bible and how to apply it to their every day life during these vital years! Using a DVD component, leaders engage students with Christian role models and a deeper understanding of Jesus and the impact he can have on their lives. Students will come to know and love God and Jesus so that they can answer the question, "How can I live B.I.G.?" at home, at school and in their world!
