Our Children's Ministry encourages parents to take an active role in the Christian education of their child, to share their gifts so we can embody the spirit of Christ as explained in 1 Peter 4:10, "As each of us has received a gift, we should use it to serve others, as good stewards of your manifold grace, O God."
We would like to invite you to prayerfully consider how you might participate in the spiritual growth of the children that attend Jacksonville FUMC. Contact the Children's Director at (256) 435-6021 or jaxchildren@cableone.net for more information.

Safe Sanctuaries
In addition to nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a life of faith in our children, JFUMC strives to make our church a "Safe Sanctuary" for children of all ages. Safe Sanctuaries is the name commonly given by local United Methodist Annual Conferences and local churches to their individual efforts to make conference, district, and local church programs welcoming and safe for children and youth. |
